Sarah Michelle Geller expecting second child

Discovering that you're pregnant is one of the most exciting moments for mums-to-be, but once the good news has finally sunk in, you may find that you have a million questions on your mind.

From shopping for maternity wear and attending ante-natal classes to dealing with cravings and adapting your diet, pregnancy will bring some changes to your lifestyle and, while many of these are very positive, it pays to be prepared for the adjustments.

And this is what Sarah Michelle Gellar will be thinking about at the moment, as it has been revealed that the American actress and her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. are expecting a second child together.

The couple, who met on the set of 1997 horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer and married several years later in beach ceremony in Mexico in 2002, already have a two-year-old daughter together named Charlotte Grace.

"Becoming a parent is a most selfless act and you need to be at a point in your life where you can give up anything and everything for a child," Gellar told People Magazine shortly after the birth of her daughter. "Every day I look at her and I am in awe.

"The minute you have a baby, everyone asks, 'When are you going to have another one?'"

While the 35-year-old Buffy The Vampire Slayer star has returned to work since the birth of Charlotte, it's clear that the couple both love their role as parents to their daughter and will be looking forward to the arrival of their new little one.

Sarah added: "We fight over who gets to stay home. You'd think it would be the opposite, that the parents would be like, "No, I'll go to work!" but he's like, "You stayed home for two years! It's my turn!"
