Time to play at Playtime
We had a great 1st day at the show yesterday – we saw some of our loyal customers; Purlog & Persille from Denmark, Schlichting from Munich, Enula 9 from Copenhagen, the lovely Segolene from the leading website MamaNana, Pretty Pregnant from the UK, and of course, the fabulous ladies from Mummy & Little Me. We had a good gossip about their growing empire (Leeds and Birmingham) and quaffed a few glasses of champagne (any excuse!). Oh, and tried to steal a golf buggy.

We’re really excited as we’re off to Paris this week for Playtime – the best maternity and childrenswear trade show. We’ll be showing our gorgeous (if we do say so ourselves) Spring Summer 2011 collection. We can hardly wait after all our months of hard work and just hope you like them as much as we do! (Here’s a sneaky peek).
We look forward to seeing as many of our customers as possible; we’ll be on stand B10, if you’d like to drop by. We’ll also try to find the time to steal away to some of Paris’ best kept secrets…
While Paris is known to be one of Europe’s most sophisticated cities in the fashion stakes, don’t be fooled, there are also amazing vintage shops. Kiliwatch is a fabulous little place where you are bound to find a memorable addition to your wardrobe.
When you need to refuel there is nowhere I could recommend more highly than Bistrot Saint Ferdinand. They serve classic authentic French cuisine, think steak bearnaise, bouillabasse, charcuterie, AND they do a deal for under 40 Euros that includes 3 courses and half a bottle of wine.
At the end of the day when you’re shopped out, the most stylish place to rest your head has to be Hotel Sezz. Its architecture and design speaks for itself.

We’re off to CPD – the biggest maternity wear show in Europe – hope the buyers like our new collections…
It’s pretty manic here at Amoralia HQ – our lovely Spring collections were delivered on Monday so we’re busy sending out stock to our lovely retailers (over 100 worldwide!), we’re recruiting for a new operations manager, we’re getting all our marketing materials ready, AND we’re off to CPD to start selling the AW’10 collection. No rest for the wicked!
I’m really proud of the new styles, and I think they fill the gaps in our existing range: there’s a lacy, everyday black bra, a soft silky nude that doesn’t look like granny’s surgical stockings (!), a new sophisticated colour for Nougatine, a soft smoky grey fashion colour for Tutti Frutti, a pretty cotton nightshirt and a new colour for our best-selling Honey nightwear (called Tiffany blue – guess what inspired that one). So we’ll be there from Sunday till Tuesday, chatting to existing customers and prospective new buyers, writing orders and enjoying a Currywurst or two!
