Do I really need to buy maternity underwear?
Of course buying maternity underwear might not be the highest on your list of priorities right now, but we think it’s something that you definitely might want to do!
When you’re pregnant, it’s perfectly normal to be the biggest fan of your bum. And whilst you might be looking a little more bootlicious, you’re probably not feeling that brilliant.
If this is the case, you might want to do something to make you feel fabulous. Now, there are plenty of things that can help do this. Go get a massage… or treat yourself to something pretty. Which is where we come in! Why not treat yourself some underwear that is not only comfortable, but can also put a smile on your face. After all, you need to look after yourself when you are pregnant and (dare we say it) spoil yourself a little!

How is maternity underwear different to normal underwear?
Maternity underwear is different to normal underwear because it is designed to accommodate your new found curves. All of our maternity underwear is cut a little lower at the front, this is so it sits comfortably underneath your bump and won’t dig in. Regular underwear is not quite as accommodating and can get a little uncomfortable, especially as your bump gets bigger!
We create all of our briefs from soft fabrics with plenty of stretch in them, so they can adapt to your changing body. Did we mention how comfortable they are?!
We also cherish what it means to be feminine and we haven’t forgotten how important it is to feel gorgeous. Which is why we’ve designed our underwear to really help make you feel fabulous, even when you are going through so many changes.

Gahhh! The dreaded VPL! Most women’s fear, especially considering the trend for tight fitting clothing at the moment!

Well have no fear! We are here to helpfully squash these thoughts. We have used a very thin stitch on the outer seams of both our Second Skin Short and our Second Skin Organic Short for zero VPL!
Both of these designs are suuuuuper comfortable, whilst also looking great underneath jeans or anything else you fancy wearing!

We also thought it was worth mentioning that we stock a couple of thongs which are great for no VPL. With pretty lace and satin or stretch embroidery and microfibre, they are also really comfortable.
